MyWCC Story for Brooke Windham
I chose Wallace because it is closer to home. Also, I received a softball scholarship for my first two years of school.
My major field of study is Physical Therapist Assistant, or PTA. The PTA staff has always been more than willing to help me with anything. The classes are challenging, but the lab activities I am involved with really makes things more clear and easy to learn. I chose the PTA program because I love sports and really enjoy being able to help people. My career choice will allow me to work in both atmospheres. I can't wait to see what my future as a PTA has in store for me.
After graduation, the degree I have chosen will allow me to go straight into the workforce. I hope I can get a job as a PTA around the Dothan area.
I am proud to say that I had the opportunity to play softball at Wallace for two years and was able to meet so many great friends. Also, I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa, Sigma Kappa Delta, the PTA program and the Rotoract Club. I have found that the more involved I am with College, the more likely I am to keep my grades high. I anticipate graduating in spring 2015.
