Part-Time Workforce Development Instructors and Trainers

(1) Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/certification in related field is required.
(2) Master's degree and related teaching experience is preferred.

DUTIES: Workforce Development instructors and trainers will instruct short-term, certificate, and customized courses in accordance with demand from business and industry clients. Courses range from one day to several months in length, depending on course requirements.

SALARY: Instructors and trainers are paid depending on education and experience.

APPLICATION DEADLINE/PROCEDURE: Complete application packets are accepted by the Human Resources Office on a continuous basis and remain active for available positions. Available positions are contingent upon enrollment and the instructional needs of the College. A complete application packet consists of:

(1) Completed Wallace Community College employment application
(2) Current resume
(3) Examples of course development material, if applicable
(4) Cover letter describing specifically how your experience and qualifications meet the qualifications outlined for the position
(5) Separate transcripts from each college attended (photocopies will suffice until employed).

Applicants must meet eligibility requirements to work in the U.S. at the time of appointment. All application materials should be submitted as a complete packet.
