Sparks Campus Certified Nursing Assistant Students Graduate


Eufaula, Ala. – Several Wallace Community College – Sparks Campus students are on their way to a career in healthcare, thanks to the Certified Nursing Assistant program at the Sparks Campus. Graduates were pinned in a much-anticipated ceremony on October 20, 2017.

Students graduating in this class were Dekedra Steward, Tiffany McKay, Sarah Mercier-Caruso, Abigail Dodgen, Clarinda Bryan, Angela Pascoe, Shaneice Daniels, and Haley Thomas.

As CNA’s, these graduates will work in nursing homes, home health agencies, hospitals, hospice organizations, and other companies that provide healthcare. The program provides classroom instruction and hands-on skills training to prepare CNA’s to take the Alabama Nurse Aide Registry examination.

CNA is a Fast-Track Career program offered by the College through the Workforce Development Division. These are short-term training programs that lead to certificates and credentials that enable students to enter the workforce as quickly as possible. Certified Nursing Assistant is a 25-day program.
