Temporary Part-Time Business Office/Bookstore Cashier


QUALIFICATIONS:  Required: Associate degree with two years' cash management experience or high school diploma with five years' full-time college business office experience.  Experience with Alliant Data Systems software and knowledge of cash receipting and financial aid charge application procedures.  Preferred:  Bookstore experience.

DUTIESIn addition to adhering to the guidelines as specified by the Wallace Community College Personnel Handbook, the Alabama State Board of Education, and Wallace Community College's President, duties will include the following:  Performs general accounting functions, to include reconciling accounts, balancing cash drawer and preparing reports.  Assists with receivables operations and performs cashier and customer assistance functions.

SALARY$20.00 per hour (not to exceed 19 hours per week).

(5) Appropriate transcript (official or copies) identifying the applicant, institution, date degree conferred and verifying the applicant has received the minimum required degree.
