WCC hosts canned food drives on both campuses


Wallace Community College student organizations are hosting canned food drives on both campuses.

The Omega Beta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa needs your help to CAN HUNGER! Please help us meet the needs of those in our community by donating nonperishable food items.
When is the food drive? Donations are being accepted now until Thursday, November 12.
Where do I donate? Collection boxes are in the Science Building, Cunningham Hall and Cherry Hall.
Who will benefit? All donations will be delivered to the Salvation Army.

Sparks Campus

Circle K, SGA, PTK and BCM have partnered to collect canned goods/Items for families during the holiday season. The items will be given to the White Oak United Methodist Church Food Pantry that serves approximately 500 families a month and to the Parkview Baptist Church Food Pantry that serves approximately 100 families a month. Some items to consider donating include: Cream-Style Corn, Whole Corn, Cake Mix,  Brownie Mix, Icing, Cranberry Sauce, Gravy, English Peas, Green Beans, Black Eyed Peas, Rice, Fruit Cocktail, Mashed Potatoes, Canned Fruits.

Collection boxes are around campus, or contact Jane French or any SGA member to donate.
