Dothan, Ala. – Wallace Community College student Caroline Faulk has been named to the All-Alabama Academic Team and will receive a $1,000 scholarship. Faulk maintains a 4.0 grade-point average at WCC.

Phi Theta Kappa, two-year college presidents, and community college state associations co-sponsor All-State Academic Team recognitions. Nominees are selected based upon outstanding academic performance and service to the college and community.

Faulk plans to attend The University of Alabama and earn a master’s degree in Communicative Disorders. Her goal is to practice speech pathology with children.

All-Alabama Team Members will be recognized in April at the All-Alabama Academic Team banquet in Montgomery.

Phi Theta Kappa is recognized as the official honor society for community colleges by the American Association of Community Colleges. It recognizes and encourages the academic achievement of two-year college students and provides opportunities for individual growth and development through participation in honors, leadership, service and fellowship programming.
