The Humanities, Behavioral, and Social Sciences Division employs full-time instructors and adjunct instructors with a wide range of experiences. The instructors are caring and dedicated to helping students excel and succeed in their academic goals. This dedication is further solidified by Wallace Community College’s commitment of small class size that ensures small group discussions and effective instructor-student interaction .
In addition, faculty from this division sponsor the Political Science and Government Club and the Philosophy Club. These clubs allow students who have passions in these areas to meet and build on what they have learned in the classroom and apply it to real life events.
The courses offered in this division are conducted in a variety of settings, including the following: traditional classroom offerings that meet mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends; hybrid courses that meet face-to-face once per week and online; and online courses that offer instruction online and limited visits to the campus for exams.
