Rosemary Herlong Hunter, Fine Arts Division Director

Ms. Hunter earned a Bachelor’s of Music and Masters of Music in piano performance from The Florida State University in1980. She joined The Wallace Community College Faculty as a Music Instructor in 1999 and became part of a Duo-Piano Performing Team with Dr. Angela Glover, professor At Florida Baptist College in 2005.

Claudia Bryan, Director of Choral Programs

Claudia Bryan is the Director of Choral Programs at Wallace Community College in Dothan, where she directs The Wallace Sound, a show choir, and The Wallace Chorus.  She received her Master of Music in Choral Conducting from the University of South Carolina, where she studied with Dr. Larry Wyatt, and her bachelors from Birmingham Southern College, under the direction of Dr. Lester Seigel.  Prior to her tenure at Wallace, she served as the Director of Music at Alabama Southern Community College in Monroeville.  

Mrs. Bryan has conducted a variety of ensembles including concert choirs, community choruses, church choirs, vocal jazz ensembles, show choirs and madrigal ensembles.  A mezzo-soprano soloist, she has performed with various church, community and collegiate ensembles.  As a member of the American Choral Directors Association, she currently serves as the Repertoire and Standards Chair for Show Choirs in Alabama.  She is married to Russell Bryan.  They have two-year old twin boys, William Oliver and Russell Conner.
