Andrew Hockenbury picked up the win for the Govs. Hockenbury only gave up one hit in his six inning of work. He struck out seven and walked two. Sloan Simmons pitched the seventh inning.
At the plate, Daniel Torrente was three-for-five with a double and an RBI. Jonathan Eaves was two-for-four with a double, home run, and four RBIs. Esterlin Perozo was two-for-four with a double and three RBIs. Harman Watkins went two-for-five with a double. Giovanni Oriz went one-for-four with a home run.
