The Govs scored all of their runs in three innings, ultimately ending the came by the 10-run rule. Wallace scored nine runs in the sixth inning, seven in the seventh inning, and the final six runs in the eighth inning.
At the plate, T.J. Rivera went 3-for-6 with two RBIs. Esterlin Perozo was 4-for-6 with one RBI. Daniel Torrente was 2-for-4 with a double, home run, and four RBIs. Brett Chamberlain was 2-for-5 with two RBIs. Ryan Reece was 2-for-5 with two RBIs. Jonathan Eaves was 2-for-4 with four RBIs. Chris Sasser went 2-for-5 with three RBIs.
Adam Oliver picked up the win for the Govs, who are now 13-3 in the Southern Division, 15-9 overall. The Govs will complete their conference series against Jeff Davis with a double header this afternoon.
