| Govs drop first game of series to Central | 2008-04-18 |
| Alex City--A couple errors proved costly to the Wallace Govs here Friday afternoon against Central Alabama Community College. The two errors resulted in four unearned runs and the Govs dropped the opening game of the series 7-6. | |
| Adam Oliver took the loss for the Govs. At the plate, Harman Watkins went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs. Esterlin Perozo was 2-for-4. Brett Chamberlain, Jonathan Eaves, and Rafael Carlot each went 2-for-5. Wallace falls to 18-4 in the Southern Division, 27-11 overall. Wallace and Central will complete their series match-up with a double header beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday. | |
