With two outs in the ninth inning, Rafael Carlot hit a three run homer to tie the game. Then in the bottom of the 11th, Ryan Reece hit a solo shot to win the game.
All total, the Govs had 15 hits in the game. Others getting key hits included Jonathan Eaves with a two-run homer, Brett Chamberlain with a two-run single, and Daniel Torrente with a two-run single.
Hunter Green ended up getting the victory in relief. The Govs will complete their conference series against Faulkner Saturday afternoon at noon.
