| MONTGOMERY—After getting swept at home this past weekend, the Wallace Govs bounced back in a big way Monday afternoon against the Faulkner University Eagle. The Govs got two blowout victories, taking the first game 17-1 and completing the sweep with a 16-3 win in the nightcap. | |
| Blake Snyder got the win for the Govs in the first game. At the plate, Miguel Vargas went 3-for-3 with an RBI, Daniel Fuller was 2-for-3 with three RBIs, and James Wynn was 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Stephen Arnaud picked up the win in game two. He was supported at the plate by T.J. Rivera went 5-for-5 with two doubles and a home run, and Michael Harrington went 3-for-3. The Govs improved 7-5 on the year. Wallace will play at home Tuesday at 1 p.m. against Gulf Coast. | |
