Starling Arias got the win for the Govs. Tyler Claburn, who came on to pitch in the fifth inning when the Govs only had a three-run lead, picked up the save.
At the plate, Miquel Pagan went 4-for-6 with seven RBIs, a home run and two triples. Chris Sasser went 4-for-6. T.J. Rivera was 3-for-6 with three RBIs, and Daniel Fuller was 3-for-7 with two RBIs.
The Govs are now 6-1 in conference play, 19-9 overall. Earlier this week, the Govs defeated Andrew College 8-7 and Blackhawk 7-4.
