How To Create a Folder in Windows
Creating folders in Windows allows you organize your files accordingly. It really helps knowing where your data and information is stored.

STEP 1:
On this step you will be creating a folder within your local hard drive "C:". First click on the "New" menu and select "Folder".

STEP 2:
You are now going to name the newly created folder. Type Practice as the name for the folder and press the "ENTER" key. In reality, name your folders as you like and according to the type of information you will store on them. It is up to you as to what naming scheme to use. Be aware that you cannot have duplicate folder names stored in the same location. That is the same rule for file names.

STEP 3:
You now have created a folder named Practice on your local hard drive "C:".
