How To Create a Custom Show a PowerPoint Presentation
This page will tell you how to change the background color of either a single slide or all the slides in a PowerPoint Presentation.
STEP 1:
From the Toolbar in PowerPoint, click on the "Slide Show" button.
STEP 2:
Now click on the "Custom Shows" button. This will open a box showing any custom shows you have previously made from this presentation. If you already have shows created and want to show one of them, skip to Step 9.
STEP 3:
To create a custom show, you first click on the "New" button..
STEP 4:
You now need to select the slide you want to move over by clicking the slide name in the left box. This should highlight the slide name blue.
STEP 5:
Now that the slide is selected, you need to click the "Add" button in the middle. Follow Steps 4 and 5 for all the slides you would like to put in the custom show in the order you want them to be viewed during the slide show.
STEP 6:
If you decide that you put a slide in the custom show that you don't want to be shown, then you select that slide in the right box and click the "Remove" button.
STEP 7:
Once you are through building the custom show, make sure that you add a unique name to the show.
STEP 8:
Now click the "OK" button.
STEP 9:
Now you should see the custom show that you have created. You select the show you want to view by clicking.
STEP 10:
Now click the "Show" button and this will start the custom show you created.
