How To Add Slide Transitions to a PowerPoint Presentation
This page will tell you how to add slide transitions to your PowerPoint Presentation. Transitions change the way that the slide comes into view and goes to the next slide.
STEP 1:
From the Toolbar in PowerPoint, click on the "Slide Show" button.
STEP 2:
Now click on the "Slide Transitions" button.
STEP 3:
The Slide Transition menu will appear on the right side of the screen.
STEP 4:
Now you can select what transition you want to use on the selected slide. I have selected the "Comb Vertical" option for my slide.
STEP 5:
You can adjust how fast your slides trasition or if they have sound when they come in by clicking the drop-down arrow beside the appropriate option.
STEP 6:
You can also select how you want to make the slides advance. If you want the slides to move automatically, then click the checkbox labeled automatically and select the time until change.
Step 7:
Once you select a transition, it is automatically applied to the slide you have currently selected. You can apply that transition to all the slides by clicking the "Apply to All Slides" button.
Step 8:
Now that you have the transitions applied, you can view the slide show and make sure that it looks like you want it by clicking the "Slide Show" button.
Step 9:
Once you have everything set like you want it, make sure you click the "Save" button.
