How To Publish a Test or Survey to WebCT 4.x
The Publish to WebCT wizard is available from the Preview & Publish menu and it guides a user through the steps of publishing a quiz to WebCT. A Respondus file must be open before you can go to publish the required test or survey. In addition, you must already have a WebCT account and password in order to use this task.

STEP 1:
From the Respondus Preview & Publish menu click on the "Publish to WebCT" task.

STEP 2:
Next click on the "Publish Wizard" button.

STEP 3:
In this step, you are going to "Publish to a single course". I suggest that you to click here for further information about the WebCT server settings. Next click on the "Edit Settings" button.

STEP 4:
Complete the "Webct Server Settings". The "Login" page is always the same as shown on item 1. Complete item 2 as indicated below (this represents the home page for the corresponding course). For item 3 and 4 fill in the "Server name", Login Port", and "Server Port" as shown below (always the same for everyone). Enter the "Description" to describe the WebCT server (I suggest to use what I used below) for item 5. Items 6 and 7 requires your WebCT account information (Id and Password). If you are using your office computer or your own home computer I strongly suggest that you keep the check box in item 8 checked to remember you account information. After completing all setting click on the "OK" button.

STEP 5:
Click on the "Next" button to connect to the WebCT server .

STEP 6:
From the "Publish Wizard" window you must select which WebCT course to publish to, if creating a new category either keep the default or type a new one, and decide whether you are creating a new quiz, or updating an existing quiz. Keep the checked boxes as illustrated below. Finally, click on the "Next" button to publish your exam to the WebCT server .

STEP 7:
Now the "Publish Wizard" displays a process of what is taking place. Click on the "Finish" button to terminate the wizard.
