How To Publish a Test or Survey to WebCT CE 6
The Publish to WebCT wizard is available from the Preview & Publish menu and it guides a user through the steps of publishing a quiz to WebCT. A Respondus file must be open before you can go to publish the required test or survey. In addition, you must already have a WebCT account and password in order to use this task.

STEP 1:
From Respondus click on the "Start" tab.

STEP 2:
Change the WebCT personality to WebCT 6 / Vista 4.

STEP 3:
In this step, click on the "Preview & Publish" tab, then click on the "Publish to WebCT task" button.

STEP 4:
Click on the "Publish Wizard".

STEP 5:
From the Publish Wizard window make sure that you select to "Publish to single course" If you have not configured the server settings before, click on the "Edit Settings" button. After editing the necessary settings click on the "Next" button. Note - The capture from step 6 below shows how to configure the settings.

STEP 6:
From the "WebCT 6 Server Information" window you must indicate the address for the server's login page. You can do this by copying and pasting the server's login page into the field for item 2 below. Next click on "Extract" to obtain the server domain information. Click on the "Institution" button to select the information such as "Wallace Community College". Enter a description, your User name and Password. If desired, check or uncheck the box to Remember your User name and Password. Click on the "OK" button.

STEP 7:
Now from the "Publish Wizard" select the Group or Section for publishing the quiz, test, or survey to. You may choose to create a new category, or use and existing category. Choose accordingly from Item 3. Click on the "Next" button to begin the publish process.

STEP 8:
The Publish Wizard now displays the progress as the quiz, test, or survey is publishing to the WebCT CE 6 server. After a successfull completion click on the "Finish" button.
