How To Edit a File in StudyMate
The "Edit" menu in StudyMate allows new items to be added to a file or current items to be edited.

STEP 1:
In order to edit a file in StudyMate you must first open a previously created file. From the StudyMate "Start" menu click on the "Open" button.

STEP 2:
From the window titled "Open StudyMate File" locate and select a project or file by pointing and clicking on the project or file. Next click on the "Open" button. Note - Double-clicking a project or file will also open it.

STEP 3:
Three types of items can be created or edited: No Answer, One Answer, and Multiple Choice. Select the desired type from the "left side" of the screen. STEP 4:
For example, enter the title for this item, then type the term or answer as shown. Furthermore, enter the definition or question for this item and select a level of difficulty as desired. Now click on the "Add to End of List" button to complete the item. The lower grid will show the item number and its features.

STEP 5:
To edit an existing item, locate the item on lower grid and click on the "Title" for the desired item.

STEP 6:
Now click on the "Modify" button.

STEP 7:
Make the necessary changes and click on the "Save Changes" button.
