How To Publish a Task to WebCT 4.x
The Publish Wizard is available from the "Preview & Publish" tab and will guide you through the steps of publishing or exporting the final Flash object.

STEP 1:
From the StudyMate "Start" menu click on the "Open" button.

STEP 2:
From the window titled "Open StudyMate File" locate and select a project or file by pointing and clicking on the project or file. Next click on the "Open" button. Note - Double-clicking a project or file will also open it.

STEP 3:
From the "Preview & Publish" tab select the "Publish" option on the left, then click on the "Publish Wizard" button.

STEP 4:
The initial page of the wizard lists the activities and games that can be included with the Flash object that is being output. Deselect any activity that you want excluded from the Flash object. If an activity is dimmed, it means there aren't enough items in the file for that activity. Click on the "Next" button. For a complete explanation of the publishing steps click here.

STEP 5:
Click on the scroll down arrow and select WebCT 4.x. as the "Course Management System", then click on the "Next" button.

STEP 6:
The first time that StudyMate is used to publish a Flash object to WebCT 4.x information must be entered about the WebCT server and the user account. Complete items 1-5 and click on the "OK" button.

STEP 7:
Click on the "Next" button.

STEP 8:
Now select the course from the drop-down arrow listing. Indicate accordingly where to add the activity within the course you selected. Click on the "Next" button.

STEP 9:
Enter the "Title" that should appear on the HTML page (the text that will appear directly above the links to the Flash activities). Additional text, such as instructions to the student, can be added below the "Title" In the final section, there is an option to provide a title that will appear in the Flash activities themselves. You may choose not to display the title within the StudyMate activities themselves. Click on the "Next" button.

STEP 10:
The "Publishing Wizard" displays a status report (progress) during this process. Click on the "Finish" button once the publishing is completed.
