Marketing and Communications


The mission of the Wallace Community College Department of Public Relations and Marketing is to communicate the “voice” of the college. We communicate the voice of faculty and staff, whose dedicated mission is to provide meaningful instruction. We communicate the voice of the students, who attend a community college to create a future of their choosing. We communicate, and reflect, the voice of the community we serve.

Our department completes daily tasks to reflect these voices in print media, digital photos, videos, social media, radio, billboards, Daily “Buzz” snippets emailed college-wide, and other outlets. Communication is a fast-moving target, and we are always working for ways to “get the word out” while maintaining our focus on the students and the consistency of our message.  

The voice – and the story – of a community college is always changing, and we are here to record the journey.
