Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)


Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) are very important members of the health care team. CNAs work in nursing homes, home health agencies, hospitals, hospice organization, and other companies which provide various levels of health care to individuals.

This 25-day program provides classroom instruction and hands-on skills training to prepare CNAs to take the Alabama Nurse Aide Registry examination. Wallace Community College graduates are employed throughout the area and provide quality care to those who need it most.

Prerequisites include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A background check
  • A two-step TB skin test
  • CNA uniforms (purchased through local vendors)
