Plumber’s Apprentice

The plumbing career field remains a high-growth employment sector for commercial construction, residential construction, and service/maintenance related job opportunities.

The Alabama Plumbers and Gas Fitters Board approved this 144-hour course (3, 16-week modules) which utilizes the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) curriculum. After successfully completing all three modules, students may sit for the Alabama Journeyman Plumber’s examination.

Prerequisites include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
