Educational preparation in a health profession will open up a world of opportunities to you. The U. S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects “faster than average” growth in each of our allied health preparation areas and the need for 1.5 million new nurses by the year 2014. Wallace Community College is ready for the challenge this health care shortage brings and to meet your individual education needs. Along with our proven record of achievement and student success, the College is currently implementing activities related to a 2005-2008 Department of Labor Community-Based Job Training Grant (CBJTG) award for our health science programs. We welcome the opportunity to have you join us in meeting the health care needs of the Tristate area.
Specific information about each of our health programs and contact information
with their faculty are available through links provided within this site.
Our program faculty are qualified and dedicated members of their professions
and seek to prepare graduates for success on national credentialing examinations
and gainful employment in the health care workforce.
Please let me know if I can assist you in any way and congratulations on your interest in joining the health care workforce.
