| PART-TIME FACULTY POSITIONS |
| Wallace Community College accepts applications for adjunct (part-time) instructors for all disciplines, to fill morning, afternoon, or evening classes at all College locations. Available positions are contingent upon enrollment and the instructional needs of the College. |
| QUALIFICATIONS: Adjunct instructors must meet the following applicable credential criteria. Academic teaching fields (i.e., Biology, History, Mathematics, etc.) - masters degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching field from a regionally accredited institution. Required Career Technical teaching fields (i.e., Computer Numerical Control, Drafting Technology, Industrial Electronics Technology, etc.) - associate degree from a regionally accredited institution, a major in the assigned teaching area, and at least three years successful full-time experience as a practitioner in the technical field. Required Allied Health teaching fields (i.e., Respiratory Therapist, Physical Therapist Assistant, Radiologic Medical Technology, etc.) - as appropriate an associate degree or a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution, specialized coursework equivalent to the community college program, and a minimum of 3 years successful full-time experience as a practitioner in the occupational field. | ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

| SALARY: Adjunct instructors in the academic fields are paid $454.75 per credit hour taught. Nursing, allied health, and career technical faculty members are paid for hourly contact with students at various rates depending on the teaching discipline, academic credentials, and professional certifications. |

| QUALIFICATIONS: Required: High School diploma or GED equivalent. Applicant must be able to work flexible hours. Preferred: Previous customer service experience, stocking of inventory, typing skills, processing of work orders and requisitions. |
| DUTIES: This is a temporary position, primarily working approximately 40 hours weekly for two to three weeks at the beginning of the semester. Clerks assist students with locating books for classes and assist the bookstore cashiers as needed. Heavy lifting may be required. |
