Program Mission Statement

The Department of Physical Science/Physics at Wallace Community College seeks to provide excellence in physical science and physics instruction with state of the art laboratory and instructional equipment, continuous professional development of faculty, and innovative instruction. The departmental faculty challenge students to reach beyond their accustomed educational boundaries and develop independent critical thinking skills.
