What is a Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP)?
A QEP is a document prepared for SACS reaccreditation that focuses on a well-defined issue (QEP Topic) directly related to improving student learning.

How will the QEP benefit our students?
As we carry out the WCC mission, the QEP will be interwoven into our ongoing planning and evaluation to address how our policies and processes can lead to higher levels of student learning.

Guidelines for selecting the QEP Topic
  • Focuses on specific, measurable aspects of student learning
  • Supports WCC mission and institutional goals
  • Involves system & community stakeholders to address areas for institutional improvement
  • Enables ongoing quality enhancement with clear, actionable goals
  • Enables effective evaluation methods and strategies
  • Uses available institutional resources
