Pete Coachman returns to Wallace Community College as Assistant Head Coach for the 2013 season after a three-year stint as head coach at Providence Christian School in Dothan, Ala. He previously served at Wallace as assistant coach from 2002-2009, which were some of the best seasons for Coach Mackey Sasser. Pete and Coach Sasser played together for WCC during the 1983 State Championship Season. Coachman played professionally in the major leagues for one season with the California Angels. He also played seven seasons with the California Angels and Oakland A’s in the minors. Coachman and Sasser are looking forward to bringing a State Championship back to Wallace Community College!
