Savannah Granberry, Director

Savannah Granberry is a faculty member at Wallace Community College, where she teaches public speaking courses and is the Director of the Theatre Program, where she directs a fall and spring performance. She received a Master of Science degree in Corporate and Public Communication from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Speech and Communication, also from Florida State University. Mrs. Granberry also completed graduate coursework in Theatre Education from Colorado State University.  As a graduate student, she received the Outstanding Communication Graduate Student award and completed rhetorical research for Dr. Stan Lindsay that is published in his book, Expanded Kenneth Burke Concordance. Prior to her tenure at Wallace Community College, she was a teacher in the Jackson County School system and was selected as Jackson County’s Rookie Teacher of the Year.

She is a volunteer for Dothan’s YES WE CAN team, as a judge for the oratorical competition. Mrs. Granberry is also involved with local community theatre.
