The Mathematics Division offers a wide range of courses designed to meet the academic needs of students pursuing an Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, Associate in Applied Science degrees, and/or certificate programs. The division desires to provide a quality education for Wallace Community College students, to positively impact the communities which we serve, and to continually grow in our profession. Courses from this division teach students to analyze, think critically, speculate, and make informed decisions.

The Mathematics Division employs full-time instructors and adjunct instructors with a wide range of experiences. The mission of this division is to provide instruction and curricula that develops the potential of each student to become a productive member of society by successfully transferring to an upper-division institution or enter the work force as a skilled technician. It is the goal of this division to provide academic advising and educational guidance to students that assist them in pursuing academic or vocational opportunities. Additionally, the division works hard to ensure that its programs address the needs of the region and the various disciplines the division serves.

The courses offered in this division are conducted in a variety of settings, including the following:  traditional classroom offerings that meet mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends; hybrid courses that meet face-to-face once per week and online; and online courses that offer instruction online and limited visits to campus for exams. This division serves Dothan areas students at the Wallace Campus and Eufaula area students at the Sparks Campus.
