Mission: Sigma Kappa Delta (SKD) is a National English Honor Society for two-year colleges that strives to confer distinction for high achievement in English language and literature, provide cultural stimulation on the college campus, promote interest in literature and English language, foster discipline of English in all its aspects including creative and critical writing, promote community among its members, and exhibit high standards of academic excellence.
Criteria: Completion of 100 + level English class(es) with B or better; no grades lower than B in English; minimum GPA 3.0; have completed at least one or two semesters of college course work for a cumulative total of twelve semester hours.
Dues: $30 and applicable local dues
