FAME stands out as an exceptional work-oriented learning initiative designed to address the employment requirements and obstacles within advanced manufacturing. This demand is met through the provision of paid work experience for participants. Students undergo comprehensive training encompassing cutting-edge theoretical knowledge and hands-on labs equipped with the latest and most technologically advanced tools.
What Makes the Advanced Manufacturing Technician Program Different?
Over two years, students can earn as much as $33,500, which with planning can cover all of a student’s education expenses. There are also potential grants and financial aid.
While not guaranteed, there will be opportunities for the sponsor company to hire graduates as full time employees. Graduates of the AMT program will be equipped with the needed skills and experience that many manufacturing companies are actively seeking.

Program Requirements
• Have and maintain a 2.5 GPA
• Be able to start MTH 100 and ENG 101
• Complete applications to both WCC and ApplytoFAME.com
• Desire to work in the technical world
