Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) are very important members of the health care team. CNAs work in nursing homes, home health agencies, hospitals, hospice organizations, and other companies which provide various levels of health care to individuals.
This 25-day program provides classroom instruction and hands-on skills training to prepare CNAs to take the Alabama Nurse Aide Registry examination. Wallace Community College graduates are employed throughout the area and provide quality care to those who need it most.
The times for the classes are:
Monday-Friday, Wallace Dothan Campus 8:00am- 12:00pm
Monday-Friday, Sparks Eufaula Campus 8:00am 12:00pm-Next class begins June 15, 2026
The fee for the course is $875. This includes books, tuition, and state exam.
Prerequisites include:
- A background check
- Two TB tests with results (Both TB skin test results must be dated within the last 90 days)
- CNA uniforms (Ciel Blue colored uniforms – these can be purchased from local uniform shops such as Scrubs 101 or Zoghby’s Uniforms)
- State issued photo ID
- Students must be at least 18 years old
- A drug screen (will be done on the first day of class)
- Eufaula CNA Application Deadline to apply is June 5. Eufaula CNA class will begin on June 15, 2026.
This course is approved for WIOA funding, senph.org, Sallie Mae Loans and MyCAA.
