Wallace Community College also offers a number of privately funded scholarships through external agencies. These scholarships may have specific requirements beyond those established by the College. Consideration is given to students who meet requirements set forth in the respective scholarship guidelines.

AAMA Career Tech Scholarship

Funding is available to award additional $4,000 scholarships to students who are enrolled in a program at an Alabama community college that is associated with automotive manufacturing careers. Programs in which applicants can use the scholarship include the following: Mechatronics; Automated Manufacturing Technology; Industrial Electronics Technology; Industrial Maintenance Technology; Manufacturing Technology; Machining/Machine Tool/CNC; Automotive Service Technology; and Engineering Technology.

The IBTTA Foundation Scholarship Program awards scholarships to students pursuing transportation-related degrees at accredited 4-year colleges and universities (with designated award allocation for eligible HBCU students).
