Program Outcomes

  1. Performance on Licensure Exam:

    At least 80% of graduates who take the NCLEX-RN for the first time during the same 12-month period will achieve a passing score, meeting or exceeding the Alabama Board of Nursing Prelicensure Program Pass Rate standard.

  2. Program Completion:

    At least 25% of students admitted will complete the program on time, beginning with enrollment in the first required nursing course. At least 60% of students admitted will complete the program overall.

    • Traditional Associate Degree Full-time – 5 semesters
    • Traditional Associate Degree Part-time – 7 semesters
    • LPN-RN-Mobility – 3 semesters
  3. Job Placement:

    At least 95% of graduates will be employed in a position for which the program prepared them (as a registered nurse) within 6 to 12 months after graduation.
