Mission Statement
The Department of Chemistry at Wallace Community College seeks to prepare all students for pre-professional school, academic transfer, or careers in the health field by providing instruction that focuses on the fundamental principles of chemistry. Students learn essential laboratory techniques by interacting with the instructor and completing experiments. The chemistry faculty challenge students by developing critical thinking skills and analytical reasoning.
