WCCD Wins PR/Marketing Awards at 2025 Annual ACCSPRA Conference

Wallace Community College-Dothan (WCCD) was recognized with two awards at the 2025 Alabama Community College System Public Relations Association (ACCSPRA) Pyramid Awards, held at the organization’s annual fall conference earlier in September.

WCCD earned the top place Pyramid Award for “Best in Print Advertising” for its 2024 National Peanut Festival (NPF) program advertisement and received a Certificate of Merit in Outdoor Advertising for the College’s workforce development CDL training semi-truck trailer wrap.

 

“These awards are a reflection of the creativity and hard work of our PR & Marketing team, our creative partners, and our colleagues on campus,” said Taylor Wheeler, WCCD Director of Public Relations and Marketing. “We are honored to be recognized for campaigns that showcase our highly valued community partnerships and the training opportunities available at Wallace.”

The ACCSPRA Pyramid Awards celebrate outstanding marketing and public relations achievements across Alabama’s community colleges. Categories include print, outdoor, digital, and social media campaigns, among others.

ACCSPRA, a nonprofit organization established in 1990, comprises public relations and marketing professionals from the Alabama Community College System (ACCS). The organization promotes awareness and public perception of ACCS while providing professional development and collaboration opportunities for members.
