The exhibit features a collection of travel photography by Rebecca Woodham, WCCD history instructor. The images highlight scenes captured across various destinations, revealing what Woodham describes as “quiet corners, fleeting light, and traces of history that still cling to everyday places.”

The exhibition will be open to the public November 6, 2025, through March 19, 2026.

From the Artist:
“These photographs bring together moments from my travels—quiet corners, fleeting light, and traces of history that still cling to everyday places. I’m not an artist; I’m a historian who is drawn to places with stories underneath the surface.

After years of teaching history, I started carrying a camera on my travels—not to make art, but to pay attention. The more I traveled, the more I realized how much of the past lingers in everyday scenes. These photos come from that curiosity, and from the simple pleasure of seeing the world with fresh eyes. Over time, I realized it’s the same impulse that drives my work as a historian—trying to catch the details that make a place or a person feel real.”

The public is invited to attend the opening reception and view the exhibit free of charge.
