Scholarships Available for Automotive Manufacturing Programs

Wallace automotive student examining car in school shopThe Alabama Community College System (ACCS) and the Alabama Automotive Manufacturers Association (AAMA) is offering $400,000 in scholarships for Alabama residents interested in pursuing careers in the state’s automotive manufacturing industry.

Applications for the scholarships, which will be capped at $4,000, are now open to students enrolled in an eligible program at an Alabama community college. The scholarships will cover tuition, books, and fees for the 2026 spring, summer, or fall semesters.

Eligible programs at Wallace Community College include the following: FAME – Advanced Manufacturing, Industrial Systems Technology, Automotive Technology, and Welding.

To qualify, students must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and be enrolled in one of the listed programs. Dually enrolled high school students are not eligible.

Applications can be submitted online through the Dream It, Do It website. The deadline to apply is Friday, November 7, 2025.
