Wallace provides resources for fall semester student success

Wallace Community College – Dothan (WCCD) is providing students with the best chance at succeeding this semester.

“Wallace Community College is committed to our students’ success,” said Leslie Reeder, Dean of Instructional Affairs. “These resources will ensure our students have access to the required technology to complete the semester remotely.”

To ensure students have the necessary technology they need to succeed, WCCD has the following resources available:

  • Several laptops and webcams are available for students to check out.  Simply click on the following link: wallace.edu/technologycheckout and complete the Student Technology Checkout Form.
  • WCCD has designated internet hotspots on the Wallace Campus in Dothan and the Sparks Campus in Eufaula that students can use 24/7.
  • There is also a designated computer lab open on both campuses for students to complete their online assignments/tests. The designated lab on the Wallace Campus in Dothan is in the Computer Technology Center (CTC) rooms 101 and 102. The labs will be available Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. until noon and 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. (the lab is closed from noon – 1 pm for sanitizing), and Friday from 8 am – 1 pm. The designated lab on the Sparks Campus in Eufaula is in the Learning Resource Center (LRC).  The lab will be available Monday – Thursday from 7:30 am – 4:30 pm and Friday from 7:30 – 11:00 am.
