WCCD Appoints Dr. Amy Greene as Director of Sparks Campus

Photo of Amy GreeneWallace Community College-Dothan (WCCD) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Amy Greene as Director of the Sparks Campus, effective January 2, 2026.

Dr. Greene has served as Interim Director of the Sparks Campus since November 2025, during which time she has demonstrated strong leadership, thoughtful engagement, and a clear commitment to advancing the mission of the campus. Her tenure as interim director has been marked by innovative ideas focused on strengthening student success, expanding community partnerships, and positioning the Sparks Campus for sustained growth.

In discussions about the future of the campus, Dr. Greene has expressed enthusiasm for building upon the Sparks Campus’s many strengths and working collaboratively with faculty, staff, and community partners to support students and the region it serves.

“I am honored to continue serving the Sparks Campus in this role,” said Dr. Greene. “This campus has a strong foundation built by dedicated faculty, staff, and community partners. I look forward to working together to expand opportunities for our students, strengthen community connections, and support the continued growth of the Sparks Campus.”

Dr. Greene holds a Doctor of Education in Adult Education from Capella University, along with an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing from Troy University. Prior to her appointment as Sparks Campus Director, Greene served for over a decade as Discipline Chair and Business Technologies Instructor at Wallace, where she led academic programs, managed budgets, supported faculty, and represented the college in recruitment and community initiatives. She has also served as a facilitator for the ACCS Institutional Leadership Academy, mentoring faculty leaders across the state. Her professional and community affiliations include the Alabama Association for Higher Education in Business, Christ Child Circle Service Organization, the Eufaula/Barbour County Chamber of Commerce, the Eufaula/Alabama/National Board of Realtors, and the Eufaula Heritage Association.
