WCCD Celebrates One of Its Largest GED Graduating Classes

Wallace Community College-Dothan (WCCD) proudly celebrated Adult Education’s 2025 GED graduation ceremony on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Cherry Hall on the Wallace Campus in Dothan. This year’s ceremony honored 40 graduates, marking one of the largest GED graduating classes at WCCD in the past decade.

The Adult Education graduates either successfully passed their GED exams or completed the High School Diploma Option (HSDO) to receive a certificate.

The event featured a keynote address by Mr. Sam Crawford, Chief Executive Officer of the Dothan Housing Authority, who offered words of encouragement and inspiration to the graduates.

The Adult Education program at WCCD continues to play a critical role in supporting community members as they achieve educational milestones and pursue new opportunities for personal and professional growth.
