Each year, institutions across the Alabama Community College System (ACCS) select four outstanding employees to receive the prestigious Chancellor’s Award, recognizing individuals who demonstrate exceptional dedication to student success and the advancement of their college. Award recipients are nominated by their peers and selected in four categories: Administrator, Support Staff, Academic Faculty, and Technical Faculty. Honorees are celebrated annually at the Alabama Community College Association (ACCA) Conference.
Wallace Community College-Dothan (WCCD) is proud to announce its 2025 Chancellor’s Award recipients:
These individuals exemplify WCCD’s commitment to excellence through their service, leadership, and dedication to improving the student experience.
“The Chancellor’s Awards are among the highest honors bestowed within the Alabama Community College System, recognizing outstanding service, excellence, and dedication to our students and institution,” said Dr. Kathy L. Murphy, WCCD President. “What makes this recognition especially meaningful is that honorees are nominated and selected by their peers—our very own WCCD colleagues—reflecting the deep respect and admiration they have earned from those who work alongside them every day.”
Recipients from Wallace Community College-Dothan will be formally recognized in November at the ACCA Conference in Montgomery, where they will be honored alongside fellow award winners from across the state.
