
Twenty-six WCCD students were inducted into the College’s Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) honor society on November 18, 2025. WCCD is a 5-Star PTK Chapter.
Wallace Community College–Dothan (WCCD) proudly inducted 26 new members into the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) honor society during a ceremony held on November 18, 2025. The event, attended by College personnel, family members, and friends, celebrated the academic achievements and leadership potential of WCCD’s newest scholars.
Dr. Ashli Wilkins, Vice President and Dean at WCCD, delivered the welcome and congratulated the inductees for earning a place in the nation’s premier honor society for two-year colleges.
“Phi Theta Kappa represents the very best of two-year colleges,” Dr. Wilkins shared. “Its emphasis on scholarship, leadership, service, and fellowship reflects not only academic commitment, but the character and integrity of our students. We are incredibly proud of each of you for reaching this milestone.”
Dr. Wilkins also highlighted that Wallace Community College–Dothan is recognized as a 5-Star PTK Chapter, the highest distinction a chapter can earn. She credited this achievement to the dedication of the students and the unwavering support of the chapter sponsors and advisors.
“This recognition reflects years of collaboration, innovation, and hard work,” she said. “Our chapter’s success is possible because of our exceptional sponsors, whose mentorship and leadership help our students thrive.”

WCCD President Dr. Kathy Murphy also offered heartfelt congratulations to the inductees.
“We are deeply proud of these students and all they have accomplished,” Dr. Murphy said. “Their commitment to academic excellence and service embodies the values of Wallace. Moments like this remind us why we do the work we do; our students continue to inspire us, and we cannot wait to see what their futures hold.”
The ceremony concluded with the formal induction of the 26 new members, who pledged to uphold the values of Phi Theta Kappa and continue pursuing excellence both inside and outside the classroom.
Members inducted in the 2025 ceremony were: Ellason Caylor, Jennifer Dallas, Laney Deloney, Elizabeth Estiverne, Geneveth Garduno, Davangela Grace, Jordan Graves, Shirley Harvey, Annie Henderson, Evelyn Hurtado, Ashlyn Korey, Allison Liles, Kelly Merritt, Patricia Mitchell, Tyra Owens, Madison Phillips, Janelle Randall, Lakeshia Robinson, Cassidy Saucier, Jordan Saunders, Julian Solorio, Sabrina Souza, Madilyn Taylor, Suzanne Walters, Nashunni Williams, and Catrina Wymes.
