WCCD Named Best College/University in Dothan Eagle’s Best of the Wiregrass
Wallace Community College-Dothan (WCCD) has once again been recognized by the Wiregrass community, earning the title of Best College/University in the Dothan Eagle’s Best of the Wiregrass awards.
This marks the third consecutive year the College has been honored in the annual readers’ choice competition. In previous years, Wallace Community College-Dothan was named Top Community College, reflecting continued excellence and strong community support. WCCD was selected as a Favorite in the Best Community College category for 2026 as well.
The Best of the Wiregrass awards are determined by votes from readers across the region, celebrating organizations and institutions that make a positive impact on the community. Being named Best College/University highlights the College’s commitment to academic quality, workforce development and student success.
