Dr. Rayanne Daniels
Wallace Community College-Dothan (WCCD) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Rayanne Daniels as Interim Division Director for the Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program. Dr. Daniels will lead the ADN division during a period of continued growth and innovation in the College’s health sciences programs.
Dr. Daniels brings over 20 years of nursing experience, with a clinical background in cardiac and medical-surgical care, and 16 years of dedicated service as a faculty member at WCCD. As a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE), Dr. Daniels has been instrumental in developing and implementing innovative, simulation-based learning experiences that enhance student engagement, cultural competence, and clinical excellence. In her new role, she will continue to lead the ADN program in preparing future registered nurses to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care across diverse populations.
In her new role, Dr. Daniels will oversee curriculum development, student success initiatives, and faculty support for one of WCCD’s most in-demand programs. The ADN program at WCCD continues to graduate highly skilled nurses who are well-prepared to meet the healthcare needs of the Wiregrass region and beyond.

As we move forward, my focus will be on supporting our students, fostering innovative and engaging learning experiences, and preparing the next generation of nurses to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care across diverse communities. I am excited to collaborate with our talented faculty, staff, and students in this role as we continue advancing the ADN program’s mission of excellence in nursing education.”
Health Sciences Associate Dean Kathy Buntin expressed confidence in Dr. Daniels’ leadership during this transition. Dr. Daniels is deeply committed to student success and excellence in nursing education,” said Buntin. “Her leadership will ensure our program continues to thrive and meet the needs of students and employers alike.”
The Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) through Spring 2031. The program consistently achieves high licensure pass rates. In 2024, Wallace ADN graduates earned a 97.95% first-time pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
