Wallace Community College-Dothan (WCCD) is proud to announce that students Kaylee Vaughn and Nashunni Williams have been selected to the 2026 All-Alabama Academic Team, an honor recognizing the top community college students across the state.
The students were recognized during the 31st Annual All-Alabama Academic Team Recognition Program, hosted by the Alabama Community College System at the Embassy Suites Birmingham-Hoover. A total of 48 students—two from each Alabama community college—were selected for the prestigious honor.
“The students recognized today are the cream of the crop, epitomizing excellence and strong leadership,” said ACCS Chancellor Jimmy Baker. “These students expect and deliver the high standards the ACCS is known for.”
Sponsored by the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and the American Association of Community Colleges, the All-Alabama Academic Team recognizes students for academic excellence, leadership, and service, as well as their commitment to extending learning beyond the classroom to benefit their communities.
As members of the All-Alabama Academic Team, Vaughn and Williams each received a $1,000 scholarship from the Paths for Success Foundation to be used at the college or university of their choice.
