Wallace Community College-Dothan regularly monitors information from the Alabama Department of Public Health and the CDC regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and bases health protocols on that information. Currently, the news is better. The state’s positivity rate has decreased, and the College’s service area is now at moderate/medium risk for virus transmission, which is a drop from earlier this fall.
Considering this latest data, the College’s mask mandate will end on November 7, 2021, and WCCD will move to a “Masks Strongly Encouraged” practice for students and employees.
The College will continue to monitor the latest guidance for any future adjustments to its mask policy.
