Wallace Community College also offers a number of privately funded scholarships through external agencies. These scholarships may have specific requirements beyond those established by the College. JACK KENT COOKE FOUNDATION’S UNDERGRADUATE TRANSFER SCHOLARSHIP

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation will award Undergraduate Transfer Scholarships to outstanding community college students who plan to enroll full-time in a baccalaureate program at an accredited college or university in fall 2026. Each scholarship will cover a significant share of the student’s educational expenses for the final two to three years of a bachelor’s degree, including tuition, room and board, books, and required fees. The maximum amount of the Cooke Foundation’s scholarship is $55,000 per year.
Fall 2026 University of Alabama Presidential Transfer Scholarship

The University of Alabama (UA) is offering one Presidential Scholarship to a student transferring to UA from Wallace Community College (WCC) in Fall 2026.
The Presidential Scholarship is awarded to Alabama residents and covers the cost of tuition for four semesters, provided the student adheres to the stewardship requirements. Students must apply and be admitted to UA for fall 2026. Students must have earned at least 45 transferable credit hours and maintained at least a 3.5 cumulative college grade point average by the completion of the fall 2025 term. The student cannot be a degree-seeking student from UA or any other 4-year institution.
